BeerBasics.com Tasting Notes – “Meeting Expectations – Two Roads Brewing Co. Rose Gose

This “Meeting Expectations” beer tasting was held at Bar Tabac in Cobble Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY.

This is a French-style bistro. You are very likely to hear French spoken behind the bar and at the tables. The menu is a traditional French Bistro style, and the beers include Stella Artois (Belgium) and Kroonenberg (French) as well as three or four local brews.

This tasting is one of the Two Roads Brewing Co. Tanker Truck Sour Series of brews.

It is a sour ale brewed with the addition of wine grapes to add color and flavor.

Watch this video to see what our French cousins think of American microbrew beer.

Also, one of their posters said

“Can. Pours a clear light pink orange with a thin white head. The aroma of tart fruits, grape, champagne, bready malt. The flavor of light fruits, white grape, bready malt. Spritzy mouthfeel and mild tartness/sourness, does have a wine-like taste.”
